Panajachel Bed and Breakfast Rooms

DUE TO TROPICAL STORM AGATHA, JENNA’S HAS HAD TO MOVE TO A NEW LOCATION.  IT IS QUAINT, LOVELY AND VERY CONVENIENTLY LOCATED.

Jenna’s Bed and Breakfast has one guest room with two full beds. The room is decorated with antique Guatemalan furniture and an eclectic array of fabrics and paintings.

The room has a television. There is a computer available for guest use.

Note: in this house, which is one of the oldest in Panajachel, ones gets to the bathroom down some stairs on the side of house. The stairs are under the eves, so no getting wet on the way down.  The bathroom is very comfortable, but I do feel this is an important detail for future clients to consider.

Breakfast and Dinner

A full breakfast is served every morning. It varies from an old fashioned English breakfast with sausages and eggs, home-made jams and fresh home-made bread to the typical Guatemalan fare with beans and fried plantains with scrambled eggs and cream. We get fresh tortillas from next door and of course, there is always lots of wonderful fresh fruit.

Dinners are also available upon request. The international menu includes dishes from Morocco, Italy and France. Of course traditional Guatemalan dishes are also available.
